San Diego, CA-based singer/songwriter Brock Dain (http://www.brockdain.com) balances lyrical introspection with guitar-based pop hooks and warm, toe-tapping vocal harmonies. Originally the front man for the band Suddenly One, which had a modest radio hit with So Will You Take Me Back, Dain is now on his own, singing songs about relationships and saying goodbye to friends heading off to war. Dains debut album A Little Bit of Everything combines acoustic numbers with melodic rockers, the sound of a sensitive young man attempting to make sense of the world around him. Hey this is my first blog entry. Ya I'm trying to focus on this music thing a little more. I'm in the process of scheduling another show and that should be fun.
My thought for the day is that hard work is the only way to get anywhere in this life. I know that is kind of clychee' but its true. I'm finally starting to
reep some benefits in life from my hard work and it feels good. I have days however wher I just want to do nothing and those are the days I really have to fight through!
